Local Law No. 1

            Tax exemption for improvements to certain real property for purposes of accommodating certain members who are physically disabled, in accordance with section 459 of the RPTL.

Local Law No. 2

            Amends local law 2-1980 regarding the conveyance of real property owned by the county to public corporations for the continuation and improvement of rail transportation within the county.   

Local Law No. 3

            Provides additional retirement credit for eligible county employees, in accordance with Senate/Assembly Bill S. 10102-A.11958.

Local Law No. 4

            Registration of polygraph examiners rules and regulations.

Local Law No. 5

            Sets forth the powers and duties of the commissioners of the Department of Health and the County Laboratory under the county charter.

Local Law No. 6

            Allows the commissioner of Parks and Recreation to regulate and prohibit alcohol in county parks as a special rule.

Local Law No. 7

            Implementation of New York State Personal Privacy Protection Law.

Local Law No. 8

            Establishment of a “mall district” on the Main Street area of downtown.  Sets boundaries, special taxes, services, etc.

Local Law No. 9

            Amends Article XVII of the county charter, to provide a timetable for 1984 only with regards to the adoption of the 1985 budget.

Local Law No. 10

            Regulates home health care services provided to county residents pursuant to contracts between the county and home health care agencies within Erie County.
