Legislator Lorigo attends ‘tiny house’ unveiling for Boys and Girls Clubs of East Aurora and Holland

Last weekend, Erie County Legislator Joe Lorigo attended the unveiling for a tiny house that was constructed by a Holland High School senior, Joe Mochol in collaboration with Urban Design. The sponsoring businesses then donated it to the Boys and Girls Clubs of East Aurora and Holland. The house will be placed at Camp Ska-No-Ka-San in Holland to be used by families and visitors.

“I would like to thank all the partnering businesses and individuals who helped make this project possible,” said Legislator Lorigo. With their support, the students and club members were able to participate in this meaningful and enriching experience. I’m sure the tiny house will bring years of joy to club members and their families.”

“Thanks to the amazing work and vision of Lisa DeCarlo and Urban Design, the Boys and Girls Clubs of East Aurora and Holland are the benefactors of a wonderful tiny house donation that we will use for generations to come at Camp Ska-N- Ka-Skan to expand our year-round programs,” said Gary Schutrum, CEO of East Aurora Boys and Girls Club.
