Funding was secured for the following groups:

  • East Aurora Boys and Girls Club - $18,000
  • Elma, Marilla Wales Boys and Girls Club - $12,000
  • Holland Boys and Girls Club - $13,000
  • Rural Outreach Center - $10,000
  • Roycroft Campus Corporation - $35,756
  • West Seneca Senior Center - $1,500
  • East Aurora Senior Center - $1,500
  • Elma Senior Center - $1,500

Legislator Lorigo said, “One of the most rewarding parts of being a county legislator is being able to work with these outstanding organizations and see the many great ways they utilize county funding. I am always proud to advocate for additional funds after seeing the incredible work they do and ways they enhance our community.”

Gary Schutrum, CEO of the Boys and Girls Club of East Aurora said, “Legislator Lorigo continues to be there for all of the youth that we serve, especially those youth members who need us the most. The funding provided to our club will enable us to continue to focus on job ready skills for the youth members who participate in our Jr. Staff and Job Ready programs.  The work skills that are developed through our programs would not be possible without the strong support and advocacy that Legislator Lorigo continues to provide for our community and club. He truly is a difference maker!”
