Erie County Legislator Joe Lorigo met with Rural Outreach Center staff and toured the East Aurora facility Wednesday afternoon.
The Rural Outreach Center provides a number of services and programs to those in need throughout rural sections of Erie County. Legislator Lorigo has been an advocate for the ROC and fought to secure funding as part of the annual county budget for the past several years.
“I would like to thank the hard working staff at the Rural Outreach Center for taking the time to sit down and talk about how Erie County can better serve its residents struggling with rural poverty,” said Legislator Lorigo. “I look forward to working with the county to find more ways to give organizations like the ROC the support they deserve.”
