Lorigo Pledges Super Bowl Donation for #AGOODGAME Campaign

Erie County Legislator Joe Lorigo (C-West Seneca) has chosen Brian Moorman’s P.U.N.T. Foundation to be a recipient of his #AGOODGAME Donation during the Super Bowl. The #AGOODGAME is a movement organized by fans looking for a worthy cause to support while supporting their team, or if indifferent to the teams playing, it’s a movement to be invested in the game by donating money to a local charity in relation to the amount of points scored.

Legislator Lorigo has committed that for every point scored in the Super Bowl, either by the Philadelphia Eagles or New England Patriots, he will donate $5 to Brian Mooreman’s P.U.N.T. Foundation. He will push the effort on social media with the hashtag #AGOODGAME, and asks other elected officials in the community to join the effort to help raise funds for an organization they choose to support.

While Buffalo will not be able to cheer on the Bills until next year's Super Bowl, we still have a great opportunity to root for a positive local impact.  In that vein, I will be taking part in the #AGOODGAME campaign, which helps local charities based on points scored throughout the game. I have chosen to pledge my donations to Brian Mooreman’s P.U.N.T. Foundation. They do a tremendous job assisting children fighting cancer and helping the families affected. It’s a great cause that deserves our support,” stated Lorigo.

Brian Moorman’s P.U.N.T. Foundation. P.U.N.T. was founded in 2004 with the mission to make a difference in the lives of children battling life threatening illnesses. The foundation provides financial assistance and family based programs which deliver support and memorable experiences to enrich their lives.

I hope this is the highest scoring Super Bowl in history so we can maximize the donation--as long as the majority is scored by the Eagles,  ,” concluded Lorigo.
