Erie County Legislator Joe Lorigo helped secure an agreement with the Western New York Land Conservancy that will expand and improve Hunters Creek Park in East Aurora.

The agreement was unanimously approved by the Erie County Legislature Thursday, and will connect trails between the park and the WNY Land Conservancy’s Mossy Point Preserve. The new trail will allow park-goers to explore more than 200 acres.

Legislator Lorigo said, “I’m proud to support this expansion that will enhance Hunters Creek Park for generations to come. I thank the Western New York Land Conservancy for working with the county to bring this project to life for our community to enjoy.”
