As part of the 2019 bond Capital Budget Bond Resolution, the Erie County Legislature approved $3,000,000 in funding toward the reconstruction of East and West Road in West Seneca. The project will consist of new drainage, curbing, and road section.

“The condition of East and West Road has been an ongoing problem for residents of West Seneca and surrounding communities,” said Legislator Lorigo. “I have continued to fight for repairs and I am proud to announce our advocacy has paid off. Thank you to all who have collaborated with my office in pushing to have this work completed. I look forward to getting this badly-needed project underway in the coming months.”

In addition to funding for East and West Road, the Legislature approved funds to upgrade the county’s highway fleet, enhance cyber-security networks, and make various road rehabilitation improvements across the county.
