For the past several weeks, Legislator Lorigo has partnered with Veterans One-stop of WNY to collect toiletries for veterans. Thanks to many generous donations, Legislator Lorigo stopped by Veterans One-stop Thursday afternoon to drop off over 20 boxes packed with shampoo, deodorant, toothpaste, and other essential items.

Legislator Lorigo said, “I would like to thank everyone in the community who took the time to contribute to this cause. Thanks to each generous donation, these items will help veterans and those currently serving get back on their feet when they return home.”

Jillian Johnson, Marketing and Development Manager of Veterans One-Stop of WNY said, "No one should be in need of basic necessities like toiletries, especially the men and women who served for our country. We are grateful to Legislator Joe Lorigo and the community for the outpouring of items donated to the Toiletries for Veterans Drive for the Veterans One-stop Center of WNY. The donated toiletries will be given to the Western New York veterans and military members in need."
