Erie County Legislator Joe Lorigo joined Town Supervisor James DePasquale to visit damaged county roads throughout the Town of Colden, including Heath Road, Boston-Colden Road and Hayes Hollow Road.
Legislator Lorigo said, “In addition to cracks and potholes, we saw eroding shoulders on Heath Road, overhanging trees on Hayes Hollow Road, and dangerous walking conditions on Boston-Colden Road right next to Colden Elementary School. This is unacceptable, especially when the county executive is touting a surplus without properly maintaining county roads. I hope our advocacy will result in the administration taking action before someone is hurt. Erie County taxpayers in every community deserve safe, drivable roads.”
