Majority Leader Mazur, Legislature Support State School Sunscreen Rule Change

                The Erie County Legislature is voicing support with New York State’s decision to stop asking for medical provider’s orders to allow students to carry sunscreen under particular circumstances at school.

Majority Leader Mazur Honors Eden American Legion Post Hosting Vietnam Wall

                 Erie County Legislature Majority Leader Thomas J. Mazur (D-Buffalo, Cheektowaga), a U.S. Army Vietnam War veteran, presented members of American Legion Post 880 in Eden with a proclamation on behalf of the County Legislature, providing a Heroes’ Welcome to the post for the American Veterans Traveling Vietnam Wall, which was hosted by Post 880 July 18-22.
