Legislator Mills announces Boston Free Library, Orchard Park Library Hot Dog Roast details

Erie County Legislator John J. Mills will host two Hot Dog Roast Fundraisers this week. The first will benefit the Boston Free Library  and will be held Thursday, Aug. 16 and Orchard Park Library's fundraiser is Friday, Aug. 17.

 

“I am looking forward to the first hot dog roast in Boston and bringing this fun event to the community. I hope everyone will come out and support the library,” said Legislator Mills.

 

The fundraiser will be held from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 16 at the Boston Free Library, 9475 Boston State Road, Boston. The event will also feature Bubbleman from 6 to 7 p.m.

 

His 6th annual Hot Dog Roast Fundraiser to benefit the Orchard Park Library is planned from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday, Aug. 17 at the Orchard Park Library, 4570 S. Buffalo St., Orchard Park. Library Director Peg Errington announces that the event will also feature Author and Song Writer, Glenn Colton, from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m.

 

“If you have never been to the Hot Dog Roast Library Fundraiser, mark your calendar and plan to attend this year. And if you have attended in the past, thank you for your continued support. I am looking forward to firing up the grill and hosting the roast once again,” said Legislator Mills. “The Orchard Park fundraiser is one of the largest, raising necessary funds for programming and materials at the library.”

 

Hot dogs will be sold for $1 and Italian sausage is $2, both meals include a bottle of water.
