Legislator Mills announces Eden & North Collins Library fundraiser totals

New records were set at the recent Hot Dog Roast Fundraiser held at the North Collins and Eden libraries. Erie County Legislator John J. Mills announced the totals at presentations held July 25 at both of the libraries. 

Fundraiser to benefit Orchard Park Library

Erie County Legislator John J. Mills reminds residents that the final Hot Dog Roast Fundraiser of the year is coming up on Friday, August 12, 11 a.m. – 2 p.m., at the Orchard Park Library, 4570 S. Buffalo St., Orchard Park. Cost is $1 for a hot dog and water combo and $2 for the Italian sausage and water combo.

Legislator Mills announces Collins Library surpasses $10,000 mark with record event

Erie County Legislator John J. Mills is pleased to announce that the Town of Collins Library has surpassed the $10,000 mark with the money raised during the June 18 Hot Dog Roast Fundraiser. The 2016 event brought in $1,410, which was a new record for the branch, taking the grand total to $10,345.

Hot Spot Fishing Maps available through Legislator Mills’ office

Erie County Legislator John J. Mills announces that copies of the 2016 Western New York Hot Spot Fishing Map are available through his office. The map highlights WNY’s best fishing spots, helping local anglers and visitors have successful outings. The map was created thanks to Erie, Niagara and Chautauqua counties, Visit Buffalo Niagara and Fish Niagara.

July 2016 - NYS funding will allow for additional road repairs this summer

There was big news recently from New York State for local municipalities as $100 million in PAVE NY funding was announced. Erie County will receive $2 million, the most of any county in the state, to do additional paving this summer.
