Erie County Legislator John Mills, members of the Legislature’s Minority Caucus, the South Line Fire Company, and Dave’s Christmas Wonderland are teaming up to host a contact-free food drive to help FeedMore of Western New York continue feeding families throughout the community.

The drive will take place Saturday, May 23, 2020 at Dave’s Christmas Wonderland’s Depew location, 1460 French Road in the Catalyst Fitness plaza. Items sought include: canned fruits and vegetables, and shelf-stable proteins such as peanut butter, canned chicken, and fish. Volunteers will be on-site to secure donations from 10am-1pm.

Legislator Mills said, “This has been a challenging time for many families throughout the county. By hosting a food drive, we are helping FeedMore continue feeding those in need. All donations are greatly appreciated!”

"Many of our neighbors are in need right now," said Dave Gordon, owner of Dave's Christmas Wonderland. "As a locally-owned business, we have appreciated our community supporting us during this time of crisis and we are grateful for the opportunity to give back."

For every 5 items donated, Dave’s Christmas Wonderland will offer a mask free of charge. Anyone with questions can contact Legislator Mills’ office at (716) 858-8850 or by emailing John.Mills@erie.gov.
