Erie County Legislator John Mills recently announced a contract Erie County has entered into with Buffalo Homecare Inc. to vaccinate homebound residents in Erie County.

Buffalo Homecare is a licensed homecare agency which provides various services to homebound residents; they are also an authorized COVID-19 vaccinator by New York State.

The contract between Erie County and Buffalo Homecare will be fully funded by federal dollars with no county share expense.

Legislator Mills said, “With this contract we are looking out for our neighbors who want to receive the COVID-19 vaccination, but are unable to because they are homebound and have no access to the community. We are one step closer to a better, and safer, tomorrow.”

Anyone with questions should contact the Erie County’s COVID information line at (716) 858-2929.
