Erie County Legislator John Mills recently announced “Vax Visits” a new program available to eligible Erie County residents wishing to receive the COVID-19 vaccination.

When you sign up for a “Vax Visit,” a team will be sent to your home to vaccinate you and any eligible member of your household—free of charge.

Pfizer, Moderna and a limited supply of Johnson & Johnson vaccinations are provided by home nursing agencies or Erie County Department of Health staff.

To schedule an appointment, call the Erie County Department of Health at (716) 858-2929.

Legislator Mills said, “’Vax Visits’ is a smart option for Erie County residents who want to be vaccinated but do not want to leave their homes—whether it be for safety reasons or because they are unable to. We want to make sure everyone is taken care of and not one eligible resident is left behind. I urge everyone in my district looking to receive a vaccine without having to leave their house to sign up for this program.”
