Erie County Legislator John Mills teamed up with the Mortons Corners Volunteer Fire Company to host a community meeting to discuss the poor condition of Zoar Valley, Trevett, and Groth Roads in the Town of Concord. The fire hall was packed with residents who attended to voice their concerns.

Legislator Mills said, “I would like to thank everyone who came out for last week’s meeting, including Mortons Corners Fire Chief Steve Bugary who helped put it together. As I’ve said before, any recent patch-work the administration has completed on the roads is only a temporary fix, and we will be looking at the same problems once spring arrives. Residents, including first responders, avoid certain areas of these roads because they are a threat to public safety. This is unacceptable. We need better from our county administration and I will continue advocating for permanent solutions.”
