Erie County Legislator John Mills recently presented a proclamation to Clyde Drake to honor him for being awarded with the Springville Area Chamber of Commerce 2021 President’s Award.

Clyde Drake has served on the Concord Town Board as Councilman and for the past four years as Town Supervisor. He has worked as an accountant for General Motors for 25 years and later he used his accounting knowledge at American Axle and Cobham Mission Systems for another 17 years—while running his own tax and accounting business for over 45 years.

Clyde Drake uses his knowledge and experience as an accountant to improve efficiency, save money and introduce services that benefit residents. All of these qualities became especially vital during the COVID-19 pandemic while he worked toward resolving the financial impact it had on the Town of Concord.

Legislator Mills said, “Congratulations to Clyde Drake for being awarded with the Springville Area Chamber of Commerce 2021 President’s Award. Clyde Drake takes pride in dedicating his time and attention to serving all of the residents he represents. He lives by the motto ‘giving back’ which has connected him to the community. Thank you, Mr. Drake for going above and beyond for the people around you.”
