Students from Springville-Griffith Institute’s AP Government class spent an afternoon at the Erie County Legislature to observe committee meetings and meet with Legislator John Mills last Thursday.
Legislator Mills said, “Thank you to Mr. Bullard’s class for visiting the Legislature. It was great to discuss the role of county government with the students and explain the different issues my colleagues and I deal with. I was also impressed by the great questions the students asked. I wish these young men and women the best of luck in continuing their education and I encourage them to consider getting involved in government as they embark on their future endeavors!”
