New One Buffalo Cards are available for children and adults.  You can trade your current

card in for the new design at no charge!!


*** Department of Social Services Intern returns to Newstead Public Library every other Friday beginning Friday, January 13 and continuing January 27, February 10, February 24, March 10, March 24, April 7 and April 21.  Stop in for assistance with HEAP, SNAP, home weatherization and other services that the department of Social Services provides.

Toddler Jumpbunch

Build fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination with brightly colored balls and simple toys.  Parents are encouraged to participate!

Kids 6th grade and up meet after school and have Fun with Science, Technology, Engineering, Art & Math.  Learn coding with LEGOS, design your own city, use our science kits, and so much more!!  Please call to register.

STEAMpunks will meet the 1st and 3rd Tuesday each month.


Life of a Writer

Writer’s group for high school students led by author Nancy Eckerson.  Do you like to write or hope to get published someday?  Join our group to learn about the life of a writer.

Three 45 minute sessions to assist with software support or Internet training.  Some possible topics: set up an email account, Internet searching, set up a Facebook account, Microsoft Word, excel, Publisher, iPad basics and Windows 10.

Pushing the Limits – Book Discussion – The Land of Painted Caves by Jean M. Auel
