Erie County Probation officers, once again, took part in the annual Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics.  This year our officers escorted the Flame of Hope through the Hamburg Leg of the Torch Run.  Proceeds of the event benefit the Special Olympics.

On June 12th, officers will be participating in the Badges on the Border Torch Run/Ride for Special Olympics where they will be passing the torch off to our Canadian counterparts in the middle of the Rainbow bridge.  The two options for this leg of the race are a 1.75 mile run/ride starting at the Discovery Center in Niagara Falls and a longer version that will begin at Devils Hole, making its way to the Discovery Center and finishing on the Rainbow Bridge.  You can follow the Flame of Hope on its journey by viewing the LETR Calendar
