Legislator Rath announces free, guided walk at Akron Falls Park

Last week, Erie County Legislator Ed Rath visited the Amherst Senior Center to pass out flowers and deliver a proclamation in celebration of Mother’s Day.

Mill and overlay work on Maple Road from Hopkins Road to Transit Road in the Town of Amherst

Last week, the Erie County Department of Public Works installed 4-way stop signs at the corner of County Road, Salt Road and Hunts-Corner Road in the Town of Clarence.

We will start to see some of our county Department of Public Works crews addressing troublesome roads throughout the district
Three roads will receive the attention they need with mill and overlay work to start this year

Erie County Legislator Edward Rath announces that a free guided walk at Akron Falls Park will be held on Saturday, Sept. 28, 2013. The walk is part of the “Be Active Erie County!” series to promote an active and healthy lifestyle. 

 

Registration begins at 9 a.m. at Cummings Lodge, 44 Parkview Drive Akron.

 

At these walks attendees will be able to learn more about how to get healthy and stay healthy, and receive health screenings targeting blood pressure and body mass index (BMI). Assorted health education materials, and smoking cessation services and products will also be available at each walk.
