Erie County Legislator Ed Rath joined Rachel LaRussa and Legislator John Bruso to help make cards for ‘LaRussa’s Legacy of Love’ Wednesday night.

The program was started by Rachel, a 14-year-old West Seneca student, who wanted to make cards for homebound seniors, disabled and chronically ill residents, or anyone in need of a kind gesture.

“Rachel’s kindness and compassion is remarkable,” said Legislator Rath. “Something as simple as receiving a card with a heart-felt message can go a long way for someone who may be in need of a pick-me-up. I was thrilled to join her to support this incredible cause.”
