Thanks to money raised by his annual hotdog fundraiser, Erie County Legislator Ed Rath presented the Newstead Public Library with a check for 400 dollars Monday evening.

“The Newstead Library goes above and beyond to offer a variety of activities and educational resources to our community,” said Legislator Rath. “I’m proud to be a continued supporter of our local libraries and would like to thank all who attended this year’s fundraiser.”

“Thank you to Legislator Rath for his continuous support of the Newstead Public Library,” said Library Director Kristine Sutton.  “The annual hot dog roast is a great community event that is enjoyed by so many.  Funds raised this year will go towards our children's book collection. Thank you Legislator Rath!”
