Erie County Legislator Ed Rath presented a proclamation to the Swormville Fire Company in celebration of their 100th anniversary.

Established on January 25th, 1918, the Swormville Fire Company has offered years of dedication to serving and protecting the Amherst, Clarence and surrounding communities. Legislator Rath also congratulated firefighter Donald Daigler for 65 years of service and firefighter John Veneski for 50 years of service.

“It is an honor to present this recognition to the selfless men and women who have demonstrated a longstanding commitment to keeping our community safe,” said Legislator Rath. “I congratulate the Swormville Fire Company on 100 years of success and look forward to many more.”
