The Senior Farmers' Market Nutrition Program (SFMNP) provides low-income seniors with coupons that can be exchanged for eligible foods (fruits, vegetables, honey, and fresh-cut herbs) at farmers' markets, roadside stands, and community supported agriculture (CSA) programs.
One $20 booklet per person will be issued. Coupons will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis. You must be present to receive coupons.
All coupon recipients must meet the eligibility requirements as established by NYS.
- 60 years of age or older
- One person household income is at or less than $1,872
- Two person household income is at or less than $2,538
- Three person household income is at or less than $3,204
Is currently receiving, or eligible to receive SSI, public assistance, or Section 8 housing subsidy.
