  • Classes for People Helping Older Relatives or Friends 

    A six-week educational program designed to provide caregivers the tools needed for taking care of themselves is now being offered. Through six 2 1/2 hour sessions held on a weekly basis caregivers learn to reduce stress, improve self-confidence, better communicate feelings, and locate helpful resources. Attendees also learn how to increase their ability to make tough decisions and balance their lives.

Elder Law Day provides information to assist older adults in making informed choices about their health and financial well-being

Elder Law Day in Buffalo offers:

Legal Presentations by attorneys on issues important to older adults and their caregivers.

Consultations with an attorney, health insurance counselor, or case manager (must sign up for these 15-minute, private consultations when you register).

Expert Advice from community agencies tabling throughout the event.

Registered guests receive parking reimbursement, lunch, and snack tickets.

$5 suggestion donation at the door.
