Feel Better - Look Better - Be Better
The Stay Fit Way
Exercise makes every day activities easier because it gives you:
- Increased Flexibility through stretching means you can reach up and to the back of those cupboards at home. Working in the garden or around the house becomes easier as you increase your flexibility.
- Increased Strength through resistance exercise makes tasks such as getting up from a chair, walking up stairs, and even opening cans or bottles much easier. Remember, an increase in muscle strength and size often indicates improved bone density.
- Physical Activity improves cardiovascular health. Physical fitness can improve every aspect of your life, especially in helping with balance and preventing falls among older adults.
- The Senior Fitness Program is a great way to have fun (yes, exercising) with people your own age, where everybody supports each other in friendly environment! Exercising the correct way doesn't mean no pain, no gain; it means all gain, no pain.
