AGGRAVATED DRIVING WHILE INTOXICATED ARREST


December 19, 2012- Sheriff Tim Howard reports that a Town of Holland man was arrested tonight for Aggravated Driving while Intoxicated.

Deputy George Avery responded to a citizen complaint of a possible intoxicated driver who had pulled into a gas station on Bullis Road in the Town of Elma and was currently fueling his car.  When Deputy Avery arrived he located the suspect who as indentified as 44 year old Joseph B. Secord.  Deputy Avery determined that Secord was intoxicated and placed him under arrest for DWI.  Secord agreed to take a breath test which revealed his blood alcohol content to be .26% (over three times the legal limit).  Secord was charged with Aggravated DWI due to his BAC being over .18%.  He was released on appearance tickets returnable to the Town of Elma Court at a later date.
