July 29,2012- Sheriff Tim Howard is announcing the arrest of a Clarence man for Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated.
While on patrol in District 2, Deputy Scott Kuhlmey of the Erie County Sheriff's Office Clarence Sub-Station responded to a 9-11 complaint of a property damage only auto accident. Deputy Kuhlmey's investigation resulted in the arrest of Donald J. Wilson, age 45 of Clarence for Driving While Intoxicated. A DMV check revealed that Wilson's license was suspended since April of 1999. Wilson did submit to a breath test, with results of .21 BAC, adding a Aggravated DWI charge (BAC > .18). Wilson was also charged with VTL 511-01A Aggravated Unlicensed Operator 3rd and VTL 509-01 Unlicensed Operator.
Wilson was released on Uniform Traffic Tickets to a 3rd party, returnable to the Town of Clarence Court at a later date.
