Arrest Made in the Robbery of Clarence Walgreens Store

Erie County Sheriff Timothy Howard announces the arrest of a Williamsville man for the robbery of the Walgreens Drug Store on Transit and Greiner Roads in the Town of Clarence on February 18, 2014 at 10:45 AM. Thirty two year old Kenneth Beebe, who is being held on other charges, was arrested today at the Erie County Holding Center on charges of Robbery in the third degree, Grand larceny in the fourth degree and menacing in the third degree.  Beebe was charged after an investigation by Erie County Sheriff’s Office Detective Daniel Brinkerhoff with robbing several prescription medications from the store.  Detective Brinkerhoff was assisted in his investigation by the Amherst Police Department.  Beebe is being held without bail at the Holding Center pending his arraignment in Clarence Town Court.
