ASSAULT AND ENDANGERING THE WELFARE OF A CHILD/SARDINIA


Sardinia- March 17, 2012- Sheriff Tim Howard reports the arrest of a town of Holland man for assault and endangering the welfare of a child following an altercation at a residence in the Town of Sardinia.

Erie County Sheriff's Deputies Timothy Colling and Amy Klimowicz responded to a call of an assault where a 16 year old male had been struck in the head and was unconscious.  Upon patrol's arrival, the victim was found to be bleeding from his nose and was unconscious.  The suspect, 37 year old Jason W. Hohl, was located and arrested for assault and endangering the welfare of a child after it was found he punched the victim in the face causing the victim to fall to the ground striking his head. The victim was taken to ECMC by Mercy Flight for treatment of his injuries. 

Mr Hohl was arraigned in the Town of Sardinia Court and remanded to the Erie County Holding Center in lieu of $10,000.00 bail.
