October 16, 2013- Town of Elma- Erie County Sheriff Timothy B. Howard reports the arrest of a Buffalo resident for Felony DWI and other charges by Sheriff’s Road Patrols after a traffic stop in Elma last night.
While on patrol in Elma at approximately 1:00AM, Deputy John Szczepanski arrested Scott LaDuca (35) of Buffalo and charged him with Felony DWI and traffic infractions after stopping his vehicle for Speeding and Failure to Maintain Lane on Seneca Street near Jamison Road. A breath test revealed his blood alcohol content to be .14%. The felony charge was filed due to LaDuca having a previous conviction for DWI within the last 10 years. He was processed at the Elma Station and released on appearance tickets.
This was the 247th DWI arrest by Sheriff’s Road Patrols in 2013.
