Clarence Man Arrested for DWI

Sheriff Timothy B Howard reports the late evening arrest of a Clarence man for DWI following a traffic stop on Ransom Rd. in the Town of Clarence.

While on patrol, Erie County Sheriff's Deputy David Zamorek, stopped a vehicle driven by 23 y/o Zachary J. Lalime for traffic violations on Ransom Rd. in the Town of Clarence. Upon further investigation and field sobriety tests, it was determined that Lalime was intoxicated. Lalime submitted to a chemical breath test which revealed a BAC of .10%; he was arrested and charged with DWI and numerous other traffic violations. 

Lalime was released to a third party on appearance tickets returnable to the Town of Clarence Court at a later date and his vehicle was towed from the scene.

This was the 32nd DWI arrest by the Erie County Sheriff's Office this year.
