DRIVER SERIOULSY INJURED IN VEHICLE ACCIDENT IN TOWN OF BRANT


 June 5, 2013- Erie County Sheriff Timothy B. Howard reports the Erie County Sheriff's Office Crash Investigation Unit is investigating a single car accident on Erie Rd, in the Town of Brant, injuring the driver seriously.  Two passengers sustained minor injuries

 The driver, 20 Year old, Christopher S. Gelle, of Lackawanna NY was travelling westbound  in a 2006 Ford Mustang in the Town of Brant when the vehicle left the roadway, rolled and struck a pole. 

 Gelle was transported to ECMC via Mercy Flight.  His passengers, whose names are being withheld pending family notification, were transported via ambulance to Lakeshore and ECMC with minor injuries. 

 Deputies Jeff Ely and Eric Kaderli state that their investigation is pending and no cause has been determined.  Charges may be pending.
