July 22, 2012- Sheriff Timothy Howard reports that a Clarence man was arrested early this morning for DWI. Deputy Simon Biegasiewicz, of the Clarence substation , stopped Daneil Lubitz, age 36, for driving on the shoulder of the road. Lubitz was subsequently arrested after failing several field sobriety tests. He submitted to a breath test and registered a .14% BAC, almost twice the legal limit. Lubitz ws released to a third party on traffic summonses, pending a future date in Clarence Court. His vehicle was towed and place on a 12 hour hold.
