Erie County Sheriff Tim Howard is reporting that a Town of Clarence woman was arrested on several traffic charges early this morning . Deputy Lee Richard, of the Erie County Sheriff's Clarence Sub-Station, was on routine patrol on Goodrich Rd. near Clarence Center Rd. when he stopped the defendant for speeding. The female driver exibited signs of intoxication, and was taken into custody after failing field sobriety tests. Arrested was Sandra A. Vitthuhn, age 32, of Clarherst Dr. She was released to a third party on traffic summonses after submitting to a breath test, registering a .18% B.A.C. She will appear in the Town of Clarence Court on a future date to answer to the charges.

 Her vehicle was towed and a 12 hour hold was placed on it.

 This is the 265th arrest for D.W.I. made by the Erie County Sheriff's Office in 2013.
