Erie County Sheriff Timothy B. Howard reports the arrest of a Wales resident for DWI by Sheriff’s Road Patrols late Friday night.
While on patrol in Elma, Deputy John Szczepanski responded to a complaint of a stopped vehicle on the Rt. 400 Expressway with a passed out driver in it. After locating the vehicle, the Deputy arrested the driver: Javon S. Hoskins (32) and charged him with DWI, Illegal Parking on the Highway, and Operating with an Open Alcoholic Beverage. A breath test revealed his blood alcohol content to be .17%, over twice the legal limit. He was processed at the Elma Station and released on appearance tickets.
This was the 19th DWI Arrest by Sheriff’s Road Patrols in 2014.
