November 4, 2013- Sheriff Tim Howard reports that a Blasdell woman was arrested early this morning. Sheriff's Dispatchers received a call from a motorist advising of an erratic motorist who he was following. The vehicle in question was located and pulled over in the Rite Aid parking lot at Main and Sheridan. The driver exibited signs of intoxication, and was given several field sobriety tests. Deputy John Davis, of the Erie County Sheriff's Clarence Sub-Station, determined that the driver was intoxicated. Caeli M. Tucker, age 22, of Dickens Rd. was arrested. She was released to a third party after registering a .16% B.A.C. , twice the legal limit for intoxication in N.Y. State. Tucker was also charged with turning without signaling, a lane violation, and driving on a suspended license. Deputy Davis was assisted at the scene by Deputy Bob Kolmetz.
Her vehicle was towed and a 12 hour hold was placed on it.
This is the 259th arrest for D.W.I. made by the Erie County Sheriff's Office in 2013.
