Sheriff Timothy B. Howard reports the arrest of two individuals for DWI over the weekend by Sheriff’s Road Patrols in the towns of Newstead and Marilla.
While on patrol in Newstead at approximately 4:30AM Sunday morning, Deputy Lee Richard responded to a citizen complaint of a suspicious vehicle on the side of Cummings Road. After investigating the complaint, Deputy Richard arrested the driver: Tuaylataisha Dejesuslozada, 25, of Buffalo and charged her with Aggravated DWI, driving without a license, and unsafe parking. A breath test revealed her blood alcohol content to be .19%, over twice the legal limit. She was processed at the Clarence Station and then transported to the Holding Center on $250 bail.
While on patrol in Marilla at approximately 10:00PM on Sunday night, Deputy Dan Harris arrested Janet M. Myers, 44, of Lancaster and charged her with DWI, Failure to Maintain Roadway and Failure to obey a traffic control device after stopping her car for erratic operation on Two Rod Road near West Ave. A breath test revealed her blood alcohol content to be .12%. She was processed at the Elma Station and released on appearance tickets.
These were the 108th and 109th DWI arrests by Sheriff’s Road Patrols in 2014.
