November 2, 2012- Erie County Sheriff Timothy B. Howard reports the arrest of two subjects for Driving While Intoxicated in separate incidents on Friday night by Sheriff’s Road Patrols.
While on patrol on Main Street in the Village of Springville at approximately 11:30PM, Deputy Ben Pisa arrested Daniel S. Neill (30) of Concord and charged him with Felony DWI, Unlicensed Operation, Obstruction of Governmental Administration and multiple traffic infractions after stopping his vehicle behind a business on West Main Street. Neill attempted to flee from the stop to avoid arrest, but was apprehended shortly afterwards by Deputy Pisa with assistance from Deputies Don Hoelscher, Jason Bouton, Eric Kaderli and Springville Police Officer Dave Hock. Neill refused to submit to a breath test to determine his blood alcohol content. He was processed at the Springville Station and transported to the Holding Center to await arraignment on his charges in Springville Court. The Felony DWI charge was filed due to a prior conviction for DWI from 2006.
