Erie County Sheriff Timothy B. Howard reports the arrest of two subjects for Driving While Intoxicated by Sheriff’s Road Patrols on Wednesday night.
While on patrol in Colden, Deputy Ben Pisa arrested Jamie P. Gavin (28) of Colden and charged him with DWI – Drugs after stopping his vehicle for erratic operation on Partridge Road near Center Road in Colden. Gavin submitted to blood testing to determine the level of drugs in his system, results are pending lab analysis. He was processed at the Elma Substation and released on appearance tickets for Colden Court.
While on patrol on the Cattaraugus Indian Reservation, Deputy Neil Held arrested Lynn T. John (19) of Brant and charged him with DWI and traffic infractions after stopping his vehicle for failing to dim his high beam headlights on Milestrip Road. A breath test revealed his blood alcohol content to be .12%. He was processed at the North Collins Substation and released on appearance tickets. During the DWI investigation, Jerrod T. Kennedy (30) of Collins who was a passenger in the vehicle was also arrested and charged with Unlawful Dealing With a Child in the First Degree for providing the alcoholic beverages that the 19 year old driver was intoxicated from. He was also released on an appearance ticket.
