Erie County Sheriff Tim Howard reports that the Erie County Sheriff's Office arrested a Town of Clarence man for DWI overnight. This arrest is the 257th DWI arrest for the Erie County Sheriff's Office in 2013.

Deputy Brandon Stott, assisted by Deputy Kristin Rozycki responded to a report that an intoxicated individual, identified as 23 yr. old Matthew Hudson, had driven his vehicle to the 7 11 on Main St. in the Town of Clarence. Upon patrol's arrival, it was determined that Mr. Hudson was intoxicated and he was taken into custody. Mr. Hudson refused to submit to a chemical breath test. He was charged w/ DWI and released to a third party on uniform traffic tickets returnable to the Town of Clarence Court at a later date.
