February 9, 2012 - Sheriff Tim Howard reports that a Town of Concord woman was arrested this afternoon and charged with DWI after a citizen called the Sheriff's Office to report that a female was seen staggering to her vehicle in a store parking lot. A license plate was provided to patrol and the vehicle was located on Route 39 near Trevett Road where it was pulled over. The driver, Carol A. Spaulding, age 64 of Woodside Road, struck a guard rail as it pulled over. Spaulding was arrested by Deputy Tim Ulinger after she failed field sobriety tests. She was released to a third party on traffic summonses after registering a .14% BAC; she will appear in the Town of Concord Court at a later date.
