March 23, 2013- Town of Boston- Sheriff Tim Howard reports the arrest of a Buffaloman for DWI. This is the 74th DWI arrest for the Erie COunty Sheriff's Office this year.
Deputy Timothy Colling responded to a report of a vehicle that hit a tree in front of a residence on Abbott Road in the Town of Boston. Upon arrival, Deputy Colling observed that the driver, 30 year old Christopher Maier was intoxicated. Mr. Maier was taken into custody and transported to the Erie County Sheriff's Springville substation. A chemical breath test was administered and Mr. Maier's blood alcohol content was .15%. Mr. Maier was charged with driving while intoxicated and various other vehicle and traffic charges. He was then released to a third party on uniform traffic tickets returnable to the Town of Boston Court at a later date.
