DWI IN TOWN OF MARILLA - 93rd DWI

April 13, 2013 - Erie County Sheriff Tim Howard reports that a Town of Orchard Park woman was arrested after being involved in a one vehicle property damage accident. Kristin E. Isaksen, age 34, of Grand View Trail, was northbound on Two Rod Rd. near Williston Rd. in Marilla, when her vehicle left the roadway, and struck a utility pole and a mailbox, causing airbag deployment, with the vehicle coming to rest stuck in a ditch. Deputies Jason Weiss and Mike Okal of the Erie County Sheriff's Elma sub-station, responded to the crash scene. The driver was given several field sobriety tests which were failed. She was transported to Mercy Hospital via Marilla ambulance, for a minor hand injury. Deputy Okal made the arrest at the hospital where the driver consented to submit a blood sample to determine her B.A.C. (blood alcohol content), which will be analyzed  at the Erie County Medical Examiner's Office. She was released on traffic summonses to a third party, pending arraignment on a future date in the Town of Marilla Court. Her vehicle was towed and a 12 hour hold was placed on it. This is the 93rd arrest of the year made for Driving While Intoxicated by the Erie County Sheriff's Office
