Sheriff Tim Howard is announcing the arrest of a Town of Franklinville man for driving while intoxicated.  This is the Erie County Sheriff's Office 178th DWI arrest in 2013.

 Deputy Douglas Grube observed a vehicle, operated by 26 yr. old George Englehardt, fail to drive on the right side of the road and unable to maintain its lane.  Mr. Englehardt was found to be intoxicated upon further investigation.  Mr. Englehardt was taken into custody and transported to the Erie County Sheriff's Springville Substation where he was administered a chemical breath test.  Mr. Englehardt's blood alcohol content was found to be a .09%, therefore he was charged with driving while intoxicated and several other vehicle and traffic violations. 

 Mr. Englehardt was released to a third party on uniform traffic tickets returnable to the Village of Springville Court at a future date.
