SUBJECT:  DWI Arrests

LOCATION:   Cheektowaga, Concord                              

DATE & TIME:  3/12/12  0158,   3/12/12  0433                                       

 March 12, 2012-    Erie County Sheriff Timothy B. Howard reports the arrest of two local residents for Driving While Intoxicated by Sheriff’s Road Patrols on Sunday night. 

     While on patrol in Cheektowaga, Deputy Simon Biegasiewicz arrested Charles A. Panepinto (29) of Kenmore and charged him with DWI and traffic infractions after stopping his vehicle for erratic operation on Genesee Street in Cheektowaga.  A breath test revealed his blood alcohol content to be .11%.  He was processed at the Clarence Substation and released on appearance tickets. 

      While on patrol in Concord, Deputy Don Hoelscher arrested Eric M. Lay (23) of Hamburg and charged him with DWI, Felony Aggravated Unlicensed Operation and traffic infractions after stopping his vehicle for erratic operation on the Rt. 219 Expressway in Concord.  The felony charge was filed due to Lay’s license being suspended on March 8, 2012 for a Driving While Impaired conviction.  He was processed at the Springville Substation and released on appearance tickets.
