THE ERIE COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE ASKING FOR PUBLIC'S HELP IN CONNECTION WITH ACCIDENT LAST MONTH IN NORTH COLLINS

The Erie County Sheriff’s Office is asking the public for their help regarding a traffic accident that occurred on March, 4 2013 @ approximately 2:20 in the afternoon on Jennings Road, north of Shirley in the Town of North Collins, where a county highway worker was struck while directing traffic at a maintenance site. The worker was treated and released with an elbow injury.

The vehicle that struck the victim is described as a late model black Saturn Vue; it was occupied by a white unshaven male in his mid- 40’s, wearing glasses.  This vehicle was being followed by a black late model Escalade pickup.   Both vehicles appeared to be traveling in concert.

The pick- up truck was being driven by a white female operator with blonde hair in her mid-forties; she had a front seat white male passenger who was also in his mid-forties. An oval sticker was displayed on the passenger side of the rear window with a triple diamond symbol.

If anyone has any information, please contact Deputy Joseph H. Raczynski of The Erie County Sheriff’s Office, Crash Investigation Unit @ 716-858-2701 or Raczynski.Joseph@erie.gov
