FELONY DWI ARREST IN ELMA


                  

      March 25, 2012- Town of Elma- Erie County Sheriff Timothy B. Howard reports the arrest of an Elma resident by Sheriff’s Road Patrols for Felony DWI following a property damage accident on Clinton Street in Elma. 

     While on patrol in Elma, Deputies Simon Biegasiewicz and Rich O’Neil arrested Thomas N. Manuszewski (34) and charged him with Felony DWI, Aggravated DWI and Unsafe Backing after they investigated a two vehicle property damage auto accident on Clinton Street.  The D Felony DWI charge was filed due to the offender having two prior DWI convictions from 2003 and 2006.  The aggravated DWI charge was filed due to the offender’s breath test revealing his blood alcohol content being .28%, over three times the legal limit.  The offender was processed at the Elma Substation and then transported to the Holding Center to await arraignment on his charges.
