December 7, 2012- Erie County Sheriff Timothy B. Howard reports the arrest of a Cheektowaga resident with three prior convictions for Driving While Intoxicated for Felony DWI by Sheriff’s Road Patrols on Thursday night.
While on patrol on in Holland at approximately 1:43AM, Deputy Ben Pisa arrested Joshua P. Brown (33) and charged him with D Felony DWI, multiple traffic infractions, and Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance (Narcotic Pills) after stopping his vehicle for Speeding on Rt. 16 near Capital Heights. A breath test revealed his blood alcohol level to be .13%. Brown was charged with a “D” Felony due to the fact he had at least two prior convictions within ten years for DWI. (February of 2003, June of 2003, and April of 2007). He was processed at the Springville Station and transported to the Holding Center to await arraignment on his charges in Holland Court.
